Frequently Asked Questions
What is CH³?
Community Healing, Health & Happiness (CH³) is a Hawaiʻi-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit rooted in healing as the foundation of its work. We bring movement and wellness programming — for keiki, ʻohana, adults, and kūpuna — into familiar community spaces, rooted in Koʻolauloa and also serving the North Shore and beyond. Our four pillars are right in our name: Community, Healing, Health, and Happiness.
What makes CH³ different?
Our approach begins with healing and uses clear, program-specific methods shaped around the people each program serves.
Who are CH³ programs for?
CH³ offers programs designed for different ages and goals — keiki, ʻohana, adults, and kūpuna. Because each program is shaped for a particular group, the best first step is to tell us a little about who you’re looking for, and we’ll help point you toward the right fit.
Are CH³ programs free?
Yes — participation in CH³ programs is free to the people we serve. Any contribution you choose to make is an optional donation that helps support future programming.
Where are programs offered?
We’re an intentionally mobile organization, so we bring programming into community spaces across Koʻolauloa and neighboring North Shore communities, and beyond as programming allows.
How do I find the right program?
Tell us a little about who you’re looking for through our Find a Program form, or give us a call. Someone from CH³ will follow up — typically within two business days — to point you toward the most relevant session or next step.
Can CH³ bring a session to our school, church, or organization?
Possibly — it depends on fit and our current capacity. Through our Custom Community Sessions, CH³ partners with schools, churches, community groups, health partners, teams, and organizations to bring programming into their spaces, shaped from our existing programs and facilitators. CH³ can also be funded or contracted to deliver that programming at no cost to the participants you serve. Reach out through Bring CH³ to Your Community and we’ll talk through what would work.
How can I volunteer, partner, or donate?
All three start in one place — our Get Involved page. Volunteers help us reach more families as opportunities become available; partners help bring programming into new spaces; and donations help sustain and expand programming that stays free for the people we serve.
Is CH³ a medical provider?
No. CH³ programming is educational and wellness-focused — it supports movement, connection, and well-being, but it is not medical care and is not a substitute for advice, diagnosis, or treatment from a qualified health professional. Always check with your provider before beginning a new activity.
